Sherrie Hawk's Sherrie Gallerie has replaced Gallery V in the heart of the Short North. This space is where the Spangler Cummings Gallery (first big gallery to start the monthly gallery hops 1985) began.
It is also one of the costliest storefronts to house a gallery today.
Many musicians and performers dominated the July Short North Gallery Hop.
Mahan Gallery had a group show of their many artists in a sophisticated, suffocating wall display. The Surly Girl gallery above the tavern had a flea market and poster exhibition created by local, independent record labels, to coincide with a rock concert in the alley.
